salvation is here!

i just came home from church, and i'm so happy that i didn't make it to the morning mass, if so-- i wouldn't have met the hottest priest ever.

hahahahahaha.

grabeeeeee. i am so sinful!!! well, what can i do?! he's was really cute beyond words, and he looked so perfect in that pristine, white habit. sigh. why does the universe conspire all the time to make me fall for gay men? or graduating students? or priests?

Haaay... it was so funny. right after the mass, all the women in the church stormed towards the altar to um, make mano. it was like a Sam Milby meet-and-greet!

I was with my mom and her friends and my good friend Julie. We were all thinking the same thing. When Father hottie said, "God bless you po!" We all just wanted to melt and say, "aMEN!"

Hahahahahaha...

God save my sinful soul!
Hay, paging boylechs! Single, heterosexual boylechs who are not into priesthood! i am so tired of these "illegal" careers!

i went back to MaSci last wednesday cos they were hosting DZMM's "Konsyumer Atbp." 2nd Anniversary special, and yes, since I am part of the DTI Youth Advocacy Club, I was there to support and be interviewed. (Naks!) Hahaha...

Anyhoo, I was glad I went. I missed MaSci terribly. Grabe, and when the chorale performed, I felt like a proud parent! Hahahaha... I had gooseebumps all over. And it was fun seeing all these kids, remembering I was once in their uniforms. Somehow, I felt like a celeb when kids I didn't know were coming up to me just to say hi and ask me if I know them. Which now leads me to think that I must be a nice person after all, or at least, I look the part.

Yeaaaah, and it was so much fun hanging out with all the other MaSci kids who were close to me in my senior year... Thanks to Ralph and Karen for showing me around! Thanks to my adopted son, Danikko for making chismis with me for three straight hours! Thanks to Abychu, who was still warm and nice to me though she was busy being the event's photographer. Thanks to Esther (a.k.a. Keso) and Arvi for more chismis! Thanks to Rachelle and Jan! Thanks to Jonas for confessing all the drama and for apologizing to me (being the "stage girlfriend" that I am!) Hahahahaha... Yeah, and thanks to Jarold for showing up and being nice as hell though he was stuffed with acads galore!

There... It just sucks that all these kids had all the fun we didn't have - i.e. legitimate use of the basketball court/s, renovated washrooms, family day and the intrams! Just the same, I am proud of all these kids (though we 06ers were such tough critics of batch 07) cos they all seem to be nice. There you go! Hahahaha...

I guess, I won't be missing much of these kids cos I'm sure most of them will be hanging out at the AS lobby soon.

And now for the FAQ's...

1.Who is "sir"?
Er, he's someone from my young days. Hahahaha. Meaning aorund three years ago. Just someone. Dammit. I couldn't believe he's hotter now, so yes there are regrets. Hahaha.

2. Just how tall is Boogie Pineda right now??
He's taller than Janica and Yssa already and almost as tall as I am! Aaaaaacckk!!!!

fun,fun all the way!

i don't care about romance...

Sing!
i don't give a shit about romance...
i just wanna, i just wanna, i just wanna dance.
i don't give a shit about holding hands...
i just wanna, i just wanna, i just wanna dance.
lalalalalalalove...
love is for suckers.
lalalalalalalove...
love is for suckers.

This week is busy, busy and doubly nerdy for me! i have two exams coming up and two reports due this week- ahlavet! and in the spirit of acads galore, may i just brag that i finally received my invitation to the convocation of university scholars. since bragging rights are all i get from it, i gave the invite to the 'rents to make them rethink the whole deal about confiscating my atm card. hahahaha.

i'm in cavite right now, and no matter how shitty things get-- there is still no place like your homey home. the apartment that treisha and i share is no more than a cardboard box with a toilet and windows. it's so fucking empty, it's not even a real house. the echo of my footsteps drive me crazy.

haay. that's why after a sisig pig-out at ihaw1, treisha and i finally decided to clean the apartment. the last time we did, anne was still with us. it was crazy! we gathered enough dust to build a dust(?)castle. fuck it. i can't wait to move to sunrise. (ees: tell me we can move this summer! pleeeeaaasseee!!!!)

hey fab crew! when we're all done with our exams and other shit, let's worship again, okay??!!! since i missed fab night, i'll make up for that in another worship night!!!

i really should be working on my reports right now. gaaah!!! and since, Boogie is my favorite friend of the moment, i'll leave you with his picture...

Aaaah, Boogie Pineda living the fab life. I love this kid. Hahahaha.

lalalalalalalove is for suckers,

i'm going craaaayzaaayyy....

Lately, everyone seems to be fussing about my lovelife- or the lack thereof. When I arrived home last Friday night (yeah, I missed Fab night cos I was so freaking grounded!!!), Mutti went straight on with an interrogation.

Mutti:How was your Valentine's?
Me: Uh... okaayy.
Mutti: Good.

after two minutes...
Mutti: Tell me honestly, what did you do last Wednesday?
Me: Er, nothing really. Just attended a lecture and watched a volleyball game.
Mutti: Who was with you?
Me: A female friend. This is weird.
Mutti: How about your boyfriend?
Me: I don't have a boyfriend.
Mutti: What about (mentions name of male friend)?
Me: Ew. We're not even close.
Mutti: His mom told me you were dating.
Me: I don't even know his mom!!!

(Enter Vatti, the king of interrupting and making sawsaw in conversations.)
Vatti: Yeah, I thought you had a boyfriend.
Me: I don't.
Vatti: How about (mentions someone)?
Me: We're not together anymore.
Vatti: Really?!?!!!
Mutti: Gosh, dear. We're sorry about that. Kaya pala you don't have roses.

(How effing chismoso are my parents!)

Vatti: I thought he was a good guy... tsk,tsk...

Shet na effing malagkit! I am so not the Queen of Moving On. That was like two fucking years ago, and no one seems to get over it. This is the best part though.

Vatti: Anak, you should just lose some weight.
Mutti: Oo nga!
Vatti: Teka lang, do we have the number of so-and-so's son?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! My parents are so twisted. Just when everyone else's parents make such a big fuss about their kids dating, mine are almost pushing me to move out of the house and marry!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

In other news, I'm so fucking sad that I missed Fab Night!!!! Daaaaaammn. In other, other news, Who's free on Wednesday Night? I need a sane movie date!!!! It's 5-7 PM at the FC. Pleeeeaaase, anyone? I already bought two tickets. I just need someone to go with me. The movie is Metropolis. It's a silent movie and I think a string quartet will be playing live throughout the whole movie. It's gonna be fab! Plus, it's free! So text me up!

post-valentine post mortem

I can't believe that I'm 16 years old when nothing cheesy or cute happens in my life. I feel so old, especially everytime I'm reminded that I'm single. I am happy about being single, but somehow all the universe connives to constantly push me into believing that there is something very miserable about being this young and single, especially when you're waiting for a cab along Katipunan.

It was Valentine's Day. I was waiting for a cab after watching a volleyball game (definitely not romantic) at the Blue Eagle Gym, when I saw the one person I hope never exists especially on Valentine's- let's call him "Sir".

For convenience, I shall be called "Ma'am". Here goes... (Cue: Temple of the King)

Sir: Hey! How are you? Happy Valentine's!
(Cue: Finally, a cab!)
Ma'am: Hi! Bye! I'm going home.
Sir: I'll go with you.
Le Chauffeur: Where to, Ma'am? Sir?
Ma'am: Home!
Sir: Some street in Quezon City.
Le Chauffeur: Er? Not Gateway? Not Megamall?
Sir: (smile, smile)
Ma'am: NO!
Le Chauffeur: Uh, excuse me, Ma'am. I hope you don't get mad, but I just noticed that your Valentine's seems rather sad and cold.
Sir: (silence)
Ma'am: (more silence and the utmost desire to evaporate)
Le Chauffeur: (full of concern) Uh, Ma'am all the other ladies have flowers and chocolates.
Ma'am: Uh..
Le Chauffeur: Pardon me for asking, but Sir..Ma'am did you just have a fight before Valentine's?

EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
Sir: er..
Ma'am: (I'm paying you to drive me home and not to patch up whatever twisted romance I've had in the past.)

Le Chauffeur: Ahhhh... (Finally sensing the uncomfortable silence)
Sir: Uh,bye.
(Sir gets off the cab)

Le Chauffeur: I hope you don't get mad, Ma'am, but sometimes destiny really plays a joke on us. Everything will be fine in due time. (Naks!)

Ma'am: yeaaaahhhh, right.

Le Chauffeur: Is he a player?
Ma'am: What??! Player? Like, did he cheat and stuff?
Le Chauffer: No, Ma'am. Is he a UAAP player? Basketball?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Ma'am: Ahh... He's actually a football player.
(Ma'am gets off the cab)

(Cue Music: House of the Rising Sun)

That was like the taxi ride from hell. It was so freaky and at the same time so funny. Like what was the deal with "Sir" being a player???!!! Hahahahaha! He should thank me, because now he can add "football player" to his resume. Le Chauffeur is the sickest cab driver I've ever met.

Joe D'Mango, you better watch out!!!!

Remember kids, sometimes destiny really plays a joke on us, but everything will be fine in due time.

Ohlalala Romanza!

hectic!!!

come fab week (a.k.a. the week of UP fair), all my stresses will be gone and we'll be back with the good times! hooray! The weather is driving me crazy. It makes my hair go POOF! as in really frizzy and big, which is a clear no-no in hair fashown, unless you are making a statement with an afro.

Ugh. I am loaded with exams, papers and reports, and I am thinking: fun! Yeaaah, that's me- Nerdette. I love this season. I love being exhausted with school stuff while running on just caffeine. Ahhh, the life!

Anyhoo, everyone's (by that I mean, the Fab Lunch Crew) giddy over the fab day preparations. I am zooo excited to see everyone go fashown! The funner part is that we have two new recruits-haha!, namely Paulo Prerog and Janell. Yay!

See you on fab day! And yes, I'll be hosting my victory worship! Be prepared! Hahahaha...

In other news, I have no plans of watching the news again. I'd rather watch cheesy DVDs of koreanovelas. Grabe. What is happening in Philippine Politics??!! It's crazy! I was on the bus and I was able to catch the hearing of the ethics committee.

It's just like Wowowee.

Fabbity fab fab!

au revoir

Look, the DB’s are finally gone- and we actually feel sad about it. Now, we come “home” to an empty apartment. It’s worse than empty. Sometimes, it feels like being eaten up by the void.

Treisha sneezed, and the echo lasted for more than 20 seconds. We so hated the DB’s, and how they made such a pig sty out of the apartment. I guess I’m sad because their presence somehow reminds me of my own family.

What I would give to hear the toaster jump again in the morning, and to find out that the toast’s for me.

In other news, I've just seen Babel (and yes,it was via pirated DVD) and it was like a mesh-up of Crash, Osama and Lost in Translation - not really because parts of it were shot in Japan, but the over-all feel of those movies were pretty similar.

Just one question, since I watched it via pirated DVD I'm not quite sure if the move really ended in the balcony scene or my copy's just messed up. I just have to say that I am now a Rinko Kikuchi fan. (No, I'm not saying this just because she got naked in the film, I really liked her acting and she's pretty hot when she's out of her Japanese schoolgirl outfit.)

In other, other news, the 2nd Fab Day preparations are underway. Pics to come. All those involved: be fashown!

And back to work!
